About the artist Susanne Sterzenbach

I have lived and worked for more than 24 years near Frankfurt am Main.

As an artist, I love the painting process and enjoy the creative journey.

I regard painting as a relaxing balance to my self-employment.

My art is about the expression of my passion for color and texture. I experiment a lot and use very different painting techniques and materials.

The pictures are from an intuitive feeling and acting out solely by the colors and type of paint.

The technique of layering and superimposition, it is leading to these colors and occasionally gives the impression of visual space.

Existential feelings of loss, fear, despair, hope, jaith, love, passion and lust of life are found in many of my works again.
